Aurora and Commerce City, Colorado Reading Program

Welcome to Chapter One, a summertime reading adventure! We here at Dion’s are committed to promoting literacy through the Chapter One program, which encourages students to read throughout the spring and summer and rewards them with prizes for their efforts.

Reading is like adding delicious ingredients to your pizza of life – fun, imagination, and lots of learning. We’re beyond excited to be right there with you as you start turning those pages of your story. So, let’s dive into Chapter One together and make it the start of something amazing!

The 2024 Chapter One program runs from Monday, April 29th through Saturday, August 3rd. Students preschool through 5th grade may participate.

Here’s how to set out on your reading adventure:

• Students can read 10 age-appropriate books and fill out the flyer that was sent home during the week of April 22nd. Don’t have a flyer? No problem! Feel free to print out the flyer below or visit a participating Dion’s location in Commerce City or Aurora to pick one up.
• Bring the flyer to Dion’s in Commerce City or Aurora and receive a FREE 1-topping slice of pizza and a fun prize.
• Students will then be entered to win our Grand Prize! The drawing will take place on Monday, August 5th.

Chapter One Grand Prize

One lucky student will win a year of free pizza from Dion’s (twelve $30 gift cards), a Denver Zoo membership (good for one year for the whole family), and an Amazon gift card.
