Central New Mexico Reading Program
Dion’s and the Albuquerque Isotopes are strongly committed to providing programs that support youth in our community. The Club Read program encourages students to read and rewards them for their efforts. Our hope is that kids will find themselves on a life-long journey committed to reading and learning.
The 2025 Club Read program has now ended and we are excited to announce the Grand Prize winners below. Check back in the spring of 2026 for details on next year's program!
Your 1st Home Run
Students can read six age-appropriate books and fill out the 1st scorecard to hit a Home Run. The 1st scorecard may be redeemed at participating Dion’s locations in New Mexico* to receive:
- One slice of pizza with one topping at Dion’s
- A 2nd Club Read scorecard
Your 2nd Home Run
Students can read six more age-appropriate books and fill out the 2nd scorecard to hit another Home Run. The 2nd scorecard may be redeemed at the Isotopes Administrative Offices at RGCU Field at Isotopes Park (2nd floor, between 10:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday) or at the Guest Services Booth during an Isotopes game to receive:
- A new book and bookmark
- One Reserved Level ticket voucher for an Isotopes non-restricted Tuesday-Thursday Home Game
- One coupon for a free small drink at an Isotopes Home Game
- A Certificate of Achievement
- One entry for the Grand Prize drawing
In-Person redemption events
Other in-person redemption events for students to redeem their completed Club Read 2nd scorecards will take place at Dion's locations throughout the summer.

Grand Prize
After completing the 2nd scorecard, students will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing where four lucky readers will receive:
- Four Suite-Level tickets as Orbit’s special guest at the Grand Prize Game
- Ceremonial first pitch
- An autographed baseball
- A custom Isotopes jersey
- One Baseball Bucks booklet
- Dion’s pizza to enjoy during the game
- $50 Dion’s gift card

Club Read School Award
In honor of the 20th anniversary of Club Read in 2023, Dion’s introduced a special award to recognize the librarian at the school with the highest level of participation for their efforts and support of the program. Read more about the Laura Rasmussen Love of Reading Award here.
